Job Title: Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)

Location: New York City (Onsite/Hybrid)

Duration: 2 Months (Approx. 250 Hours)

Employment Type: Contract

Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with experience in medical-legal environments to provide clinical supervision and support to social workers delivering grief counseling services. This role focuses on enhancing clinical practice, supporting staff wellbeing, and ensuring high-quality care delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular 45-minute one-on-one supervision sessions with assigned staff
• Support social workers in enhancing clinical skills and delivering quality care
• Provide guidance on managing grief counseling , particularly related to opioid-related loss
• Assist in identifying learning needs, strengths, and skill development goals
• Promote self-awareness and professional growth through structured supervision
• Address vicarious trauma, stress, and wellbeing strategies with staff
• Introduce and guide concepts such as:
  • Transference and countertransference
  • Parallel process
  • Cultural and value-based considerations in care
• Participate in meetings with leadership to align on supervision practices and expectations
• Maintain strict confidentiality of all supervision sessions

Required Qualifications:

• Active LCSW License – New York State (Required)
• Minimum 1 year of experience providing clinical supervision to LMSWs
• Experience supporting clients with grief related to opioid overdose loss
• Prior experience in a medical-legal setting
