Job Description

Job Description

The Basics

We’re a remote-first, Sheffield-based digital marketing agency looking for an experienced freelance PPC Manager to own paid media across a portfolio of our clients.

Engagement: Freelance
Location: Remote. UK preferred but not essential.
Hours: You will join our internal shared Google Meet team call during your agreed 4-hour working window, which must fall between 09:00 and 17:00 UK time.
Commitment: 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday (a continuous 4-hour window overlapping UK business hours).
Rate: State your hourly rate, in GBP or USD.
Payment: Invoice monthly in arrears. Paid within 2 business days of receipt.
Start: ASAP

Note on overlap: This role requires a consistent 4-hour overlap with UK working hours (09:00–17:00 UK time) every weekday so you can join our daily team call and collaborate synchronously with clients and the team. Please do not apply if you cannot reliably manage this overlap.

About Us

We’re an award-winning, conversion-focused agency and a Google Premier Partner, with over fifteen years’ experience helping ambitious brands grow through Paid Advertising, SEO, Creative, and Conversion Rate Optimisation.

We work without micromanagement and without red tape. You’ll get the tools, context, and senior support you need, then you’ll be trusted to run your accounts. That means real ownership rather than being handed task lists.

The Role

You’ll support paid media strategy and execution across a portfolio of UK and international clients, acting as an analyst, consultant, and implementation manager. You’ll be hands-on across Google Ads and Microsoft Ads, and to a lesser degree paid social, using performance data to drive what you do next.

You’ll work directly with clients and our internal team, so clear communication and tight organisation matter.

You Must Have

  • Demonstrable PPC management experience, with strong competency in Google Ads.
  • At least 3 years in a paid search role, ideally agency-side. We’ll consider strong client-side experience on comparably sized accounts and budgets.
  • Solid knowledge of GA4.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • The ability to communicate clearly and fluently with stakeholders at all levels of seniority and varying technical understanding.
  • Strong organisational skills and confident, independent decision-making.
  • A genuinely analytical approach to performance.
  • Solid client relationship experience.

Nice To Have

  • Experience managing funnels across paid social activity.
  • Tracking and attribution setup (GA4, server-side, conversion APIs).
  • Experience across other digital channels.
  • Comfort reading basic HTML/JS or working with developers on tracking.

How To Apply

Please apply using our application form (no direct emails).

Apply via the application form only. After submitting you will receive an automated confirmation; we typically review applications within 5 business days and will contact shortlisted candidates with next steps.

In Your Application Form, Include

  • CV / Bio – with a short summary of your relevant PPC management experience and years in paid search.
  • One or two examples of accounts you’ve run, with the kind of results you achieved (links or short case notes).
  • Your hourly rate (GBP or USD) and your regular timezone.
  • Proposed available overlap hours in UK time (provide a continuous 4-hour window between 09:00 and 17:00 UK time e.g., 09:00–13:00 UK).
  • Availability from date.

Please only apply if you can join our daily meet call and meet the 4-hour UK overlap requirement. Applications that do not clearly state overlap hours and relevant experience will be excluded from shortlisting.
