Job Description

The Fitness Department of Fitometry Health Club is seeking a positive, dynamic, fully-certified Mat Pilates Instructor. The successful candidate will engage and motivate club members to participate in group Pilates classes, ensuring a compelling, fun, and safe training environment. As a Mat Pilates Instructor, you will be responsible for creating robust workout programs that deliver results and promote the overall wellness of our members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, develop, and deliver group Pilates classes that are structured, engaging, safe, and energizing, to cater to members of various fitness levels, ages, and experience.
• Ensure all classes start and finish as scheduled, while maintaining a commitment to punctuality and preparation.
• Provide constructive feedback to participants, ensuring appropriate technique to avoid injury.
• Modify exercise regime based on varying fitness levels of participants or to accommodate individuals with injuries or specific health conditions.

Qualifications:

• Mat Pilates certification from a nationally accredited organization is required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience teaching group Pilates classes.
• Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to motivate and connect with a diverse clientele.
• A positive and outgoing personality with a dedicated commitment to the discipline of Pilates and promoting a healthy lifestyle in general.
• Current certification in CPR-AED and first aid is essential, or the ability to achieve this within 60 days of employment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
