Job Description

As a Mobile Game Developer specializing in Solar2D (formerly Corona SDK), you will be instrumental in creating innovative gameplay experiences for both iOS and Android platforms. This role focuses on delivering fast, monetization-ready prototypes and high-performance games, allowing you to showcase your skills in a dynamic environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, prototype, and build cross-platform mobile games using Solar2D with Lua scripting.
  • Implement core gameplay mechanics and game systems from concept to deployment.
  • Optimize game performance for seamless experiences across a wide variety of mobile devices.
  • Integrate monetization features such as in-app purchases and ad networks to ensure games are market-ready.
  • Collaborate closely with designers, artists, and other developers to iterate and refine gameplay.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and maintainable code, adhering to best practices in game development.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to foster a culture of continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience developing mobile games with Solar2D (Corona SDK) and Lua scripting language.
  • Strong understanding of cross-platform game deployment for both iOS and Android.
  • Demonstrated ability to prototype quickly and efficiently in fast-paced environments.
  • Solid knowledge of optimizing mobile game performance and managing device compatibility.
