Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and energetic female Physical Education (PE) Teacher to join our international school in Shanghai. The ideal candidate should be a native English speaker with strong experience in delivering high-quality PE lessons and proven ability to teach swimming.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and well-structured PE lessons across different age groups

Plan and implement a balanced PE curriculum, including both land-based and aquatic activities

Teach swimming lessons and ensure water safety at all times

Organize and support school sports events, competitions, and extracurricular activities

Promote students’ physical development, teamwork, and well-being

Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and reports when required

Ensure a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment

Requirements

Native English speaker (essential)

Female candidate (required for this role)

Bachelor’s degree or above in Physical Education, Sports Science, or related field

Recognized teaching qualification (PGCE / QTS / Teaching License or equivalent preferred)

Must be able to teach swimming confidently (essential)

Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience

Experience in international schools is preferred

Strong classroom management and communication skills

Passion for student development and active lifestyle education
