Salary: $124,800 - 135,200 per year Requirements:

• Bachelors degree required
• Over 7 years of experience in various agile roles within software development
• SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), Certified Scrum Professional (CSP), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or equivalent agile certification is essential
• At least 2 years of experience in large organizations or Fortune 500 companies is preferred
• Capability to work in St. Louis, MO AHQ up to three days weekly

• Enhance visibility into development progress and project status by generating and tracking metrics and reports
• Cultivate a collaborative atmosphere, leading the growth of self-managing, high-performing teams
• Refine team focus by eliminating non-value-added activities and actions
• Organize, prepare, and facilitate all engineering team events
• Educate the engineering team on effective estimation techniques
• Support the engineering team in breaking down tasks and assessing effort
• Collaborate with the Product team to ensure the backlog is accurately refined and prioritized
• Lead cross-functional meetings, including scheduling, creating meeting agendas, and tracking action item completion
• Proactively identify dependencies, impediments, and risks, and implement mitigation strategies
• Manage dependencies actively and foster relationships with interconnected teams for timely resolutions
• Implement and clarify the rationale behind team processes like Scrum, XP, WIP limits, DoR, and DoD
• Drive relentless improvement efforts within the team, fostering accountability for improvement actions
• Facilitate and instruct problem-solving techniques to enhance the teams capability
• Organize and lead root cause analysis workshops
• Coach and mentor the Product Owner regarding value management while overseeing delivery
• Recognize agile anti-patterns and successfully provide solutions to foster behavioral change
• Offer strategic insights to management and continually refine delivery methodologies for improved project outcomes
• Champion Scaled Agile adoption within the ART and organization, conducting training and leading process improvements
• Ensure thorough preparation and readiness for ART events
• Show vested interest in the team and organizations goals while learning about the teams projects and their business impact
• Gain a general understanding of the technology stack, enabling the explanation of solution functionality and architecture

We are looking for a Scrum Master to join our dynamic team located in St. Louis, Missouri. This role not only involves managing projects but also serves as a coach for our Agile Team, guiding them towards self-organization and efficiency. As an integral part of our workforce, you will enjoy a collaborative environment that values continuous improvement and professional growth. This contract position offers a competitive hourly rate of $60 - $65, working hours from 9 AM to 6 PM. We expect our Scrum Master to occasionally attend in-person meetings, especially during PI Planning weeks and other key events.
