Location: New York, NY (Midtown – 5 days onsite)

Pay Rate: $170–$215/hour+ (based on experience)
Duration: 2–3 months (with potential for direct hire)
A publicly traded organization is seeking a Temporary SEC Attorney to step in immediately and support its legal team during a transition. This is a high-visibility role working closely with the General Counsel and senior leadership, including exposure to the Board of Directors.
Key Experience Areas:
• SEC reporting and filings, including 10-K, 10-Q, and 8-K
• Corporate governance and Board support
• Proxy statements and public company disclosures
• SEC and NASDAQ compliance
Requirements:
• JD and active bar admission (NY preferred)
• 4+ years of experience in securities law and public company reporting
• Experience at a law firm and/or in-house with a public company
• Ability to step in quickly and work independently
