MARS Solutions Group is looking for an experienced Senior Web Designer located in Madison, WI. Our client is a government agency looking for high-quality talent to make a difference. They are known to respect a traditional work week and often extend contracts for added job security and stability.

Note: Remote - Candidates be WI residents or willing to relocate to WI at their own expense prior to starting the role.
Additional information: The contractor will be required to be available online, be present to meet all workload requirements, and must be available to attend all scheduled meetings during DWD standard working hours of 7.45 am 4.30 pm Central Time. DWD can make changes or modifications to this arrangement with a reasonable advance notice. DWD prefers that the selected contract resource resides in greater Madison area. Contractor must be available to work onsite in DWD Madison WI headquarters GEF-1 location at DWD's request, including consecutive weekdays or extended periods, without reimbursement for travel, lodging, or parking expenses.
Top Required Skills & Years of Experience:
1. Experience working in Drupal, with a specific focus on content migration to Drupal. (5 yrs)
2. Excellent communication skills as this resource may need to work with staff within the agency on the content. (5 yrs)
3. Ability to work independently under tight deadlines to meet the delivery needs of the project. (5 yrs)
Nice to Have Skills:
1. Experience with user experience web content design (e.g., experiences in best practices for organizing web site materials to improve user experience)
2. Previous work experience in large agency/environment
Brief Project Description
This contractor is required to assist with web content migration to the new content management tool Drupal. This project is essential to meeting the needs of the Seamless project identified as part of the ARPA Schedule 8 efforts to make information on the website to make the content is cleaner and more accessible.
Hardware/Software Environment
DWD uses largely Microsoft operating systems and products for day-to-day operations. Access to Drupal and associated tools will be provided to update web pages. About MARS Solutions Group:
