OVER VIEW
Duties: Month-end closing, bank reconciliation, cash application
Responsibilities:
Prepares balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other financial reports.
Make recommendations on policies, systems and procedures.
Offers suggestions on resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
Must have thorough knowledge of accounting methods, principals, practices and the ability to apply the knowledge.
Responsibilities also include analyzing trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
Assist with special projects as requested.
Requirements:
Demonstrated communication skills (verbal and written).
Demonstrated ability to apply and follow job related policies and procedures.
Proven analytical and problem solving skills.
Persistence needed in order to resolve problems quickly.
Ability to work independently in team oriented culture.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Bachelor's degree with a concentration in accounting is preferred, experience in the field or in a related area.
