Salary: $156,000 - 196,000 per year Requirements:
- We require 8+ years of experience in ADAS or closely related commodities.
- We require 5+ years of hands-on experience with RVC, SVS, or similar viewing camera applications, including trailer, underbody, and interior cameras.
- We require experience developing requirements, cascading requirements, creating and maintaining DFMEA, linking to PFMEA, and managing the bill of materials.
- We require strong leadership behaviors, including approachability, calm decision-making, conflict management, listening, and team building.
- We require excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- We require strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- We require a solid understanding of camera system engineering theory and principles.

Responsibilities: - We lead product development and integration activities for ADAS camera programs.
- We use engineering tools and disciplined processes to develop and integrate components and systems for vehicle programs.
- We manage program deliverables through rigorous and effective program oversight.
- We coach and guide suppliers to ensure timely execution and high-quality delivery.
- We serve as a recognized technical authority and trusted resource.
- We advise on the design, development, and implementation of technical products and systems.
- We recommend improvements that raise product quality and strengthen processes.
- We own internal activities and product development efforts.
- We apply deep technical expertise and sound judgment to plan and achieve goals.
- We handle multiple complex assignments requiring creativity, originality, and broad application of engineering principles.
- We engage with senior internal and external stakeholders.
- We address difficult cross-functional challenges across multiple disciplines.
- We contribute to strategy, policy, and implementation guidelines for new initiatives.
- We develop and secure approval for robust BOM strategies that align with cost, mass, investment, and quality targets.
- We assess current applications, identify technical gaps, and improve future sourcing readiness.
- We create sourcing strategies and support supplier development and qualification.
- We perform true cost, technology, and performance benchmarking.
- We maintain global requirements, templates, best practices, and inherent criteria.
- We update BOM strategies, rollout plans, variant strategies, and component roadmaps in line with active safety priorities.
- We chair active safety component workgroups for viewing camera variants.
- We provide architects and program engineers with best-fit BOM strategies, subsystems, and components that promote reuse.
- We supply best-fit specifications, best practices, inherent criteria, and typical sections to engineering teams.
- We approve BOM selections and ensure math data is available.
- We provide cost, quality, and other imperative information to support decisions.
- We lead requirements peer reviews and approve other peer reviews while capturing integration and other issues.
- We approve program sourcing documents and sourcing decisions.
- We oversee eSOR and the sourcing process.
- We secure supplier resident approval from regional execution stakeholders.
- We direct the math owner to create EWO documentation for carryover components.
- We act as the engineering lead for sourcing activities such as eSORs, EWO, SSP, and target processes.
- We support build, PRTS, launch, and issue-resolution efforts.
- We manage corporate BOM rows for viewing cameras within the ADAS domain.
- We define, execute, and evaluate designs while balancing requirements and controlling major engineering projects.
- We provide technical direction to engineers and support personnel and may lead a group with defined engineering objectives.
- We support assembly plant and field issue resolution.
- We incorporate lessons learned into strategies, best practices, and specifications.
