Job Duties: Custom Harvesting Duties: Workers operate self-propelled custom class combine equipment to harvest a variety of grain and oilseed silage crops such as corn; performing manual or mechanical adjustments to combine equipment, including cutters, blowers and conveyers; maintain and repairs equipment and other tools for performing combining work; work and travel with the custom combing crew to transport harvested crops to elevators, silos, or other storage areas, and transport combine equipment and other tools used for custom combining work from one field to another. Workers must have prior experience calibrating the equipment. Operate tractors and farm equipment. Harvest with harvest machine, tractor and trailers. Harvest various crops by hand and or with tractor with crew. Perform sanitation duties, including washing and disinfecting custom combining equipment. General farm work: sunflowers, corn, and pumpkins The employer confirms that all activities pertaining to general farmwork in the ETA 790 will only take place on leased land controlled by Morrison Chopping Workers will assist in cleaning warehouses. Workers may also occasionally perform irrigation and planting duties, including planting crops, irrigating crops with booster pumps and moving in-out sprinkler systems. Clean fields and ditches. Assist with planting and maintaining fields. Weeding with crew. Thinning: Workers walk in uneven furrows. Under the direction of the field supervisor, field workers look for the specified gap between seeds. Using a long-handled hoe, they thin out any excess crop/seeds and/or weed on the seed line and leave the desired product and gap on the field. The worker cleans the lot for any unwanted weeds on the beds and seed lines and takes it out of the field as instructed by the field supervisor. Harvest with harvest machine, tractor and trailers. Harvest various crops by hand and or with tractor with crew. Perform sanitation duties, including washing and disinfecting farm equipment. Worker must attend required orientation, which time will be compensated. All employees must respect and follow company policies as stated in the company handbook including any new or changed policies which may be communicated to workers during the course of the season. Workers who become ill or injured for non-work-related reasons and are unable to perform essential functions of the job will be released for cause if not covered by any protected leave. Employees must work in a safe manner and adhere to all safety training provided by the company. Employees must follow the directions of their supervisors regarding work efficiency and quality. Workers will be expected to comply with all provisions of this clearance order and the company's work rules, policies and procedures, and to perform any and all assigned tasks in a work-person-like and efficient manner. Failure to do so will subject the worker to the employer's disciplinary procedures. The employer endeavors to produce a premium product. This is a demanding, competitive business. Workers must be willing to perform all duties according to the employer's rules and regulations during the contract period.

Special Requirements: Experience: We require 3 months of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. This position requires a minimum of 3 months for the employee to get a full understanding of the job and responsibilities. Be able to lift up to 75 lbs. Once hired, workers may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the workers. Testing positive or failure to comply with the drug test may result in immediate termination from employment. Drug testing will be conducted after a job offer is made, and before commencing work at Employer's expense. See Addendum C.
