FULL TIME, EXEMPT POSITION; YMCA OF GREATER NASHUA; Westwood Park YMCA
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Wellness, the Director of Fitness (Wellness) leads the health and wellness experience at the Westwood Park branch — overseeing personal training, small group training, athlete programming, and wellness floor operations while building a team and culture that helps every member set goals, find community, and thrive.
The Director of Fitness (Wellness) builds upon distinctive athletic culture at Westwood Park — establishing a sports performance program that serves athletes of all ages alongside the broader membership community — while ensuring that every touchpoint reflects the Y’s mission of building healthy spirit, mind, and body for all.

This position requires the ability to actively demonstrate exercises and equipment usage on the wellness floor. Must be able to stand, walk, and be physically active for extended periods. The role operates in a dynamic, member-facing environment and requires flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities. Some evening and weekend hours may be required based on branch needs.
