IMMEDIATE HIRING FOR GENERAL PRODUCTION WORKER - 2ND SHIFT - $16.90/HOUR

This role focuses on supporting high-volume food production by packing and stacking fruit at facilities located near Cedar and Alluvial. You will work on the production line to ensure products are packaged accurately, safely, and efficiently while following established quality and safety standards. English comprehension is required to understand instructions, safety guidelines, and production procedures.

Responsibilities

• Pack and stack fruit on the production line in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.
• Perform general production and general labor tasks as directed by supervisors and team leads.
• Inspect products for quality, ensuring fruit and packaging meet established standards before shipment.
• Operate within the packaging area to correctly pack, seal, and prepare products for stacking and distribution.
• Lift, carry, and stack boxes or containers weighing at least 40 pounds throughout the shift.
• Push and pull carts or palletized loads weighing up to 400 pounds as part of stacking and material movement duties.
• Follow all safety, sanitation, and quality procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment.
• Work flexible schedules, including day, night, graveyard (for sanitation only), and weekend shifts as needed.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks for extended periods, maintaining productivity and attention to detail.
• Adapt to working in extreme hot and cold temperatures within the food production facility.
• Communicate effectively in English to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
• Support team members and collaborate to keep production lines running smoothly and efficiently.

Essential Skills

• Ability to perform general production and general labor tasks in a food manufacturing environment.
• Experience or comfort with packing and stacking products on a production line.
• Capability to lift at least 40 pounds safely and repeatedly during the shift.
• Ability to push and pull loads up to 400 pounds using appropriate equipment and techniques.
• Willingness and ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, night, graveyard (for sanitation only), and weekend shifts.
• Comfort with physical, repetitive work over extended periods.
• Ability to work in extreme temperature conditions, including hot and cold environments.
• English comprehension sufficient to understand safety rules, work instructions, and production procedures.
• Reliability and punctuality in attending assigned shifts and completing tasks.

Work Environment

You will work in a peach and strawberry food production facility that operates multiple shifts, including 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and 2nd shift from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., with potential graveyard shifts for sanitation and weekend work. The environment involves extreme temperatures, both hot and cold, and requires repetitive physical activity throughout the shift. Standard food production attire is required, including a smock, hair net, beard net if needed, bump cap, and non-slip shoes to maintain safety and sanitation standards.

This is a Contract position based out of Clovis, CA.

The pay range for this position is $16.90 - $16.90/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Clovis,CA.
