Job Description

We are looking for experienced Behavior Technicians or RBTs looking to work up to 30 guaranteed hours (with 40 hour schedules available) in a clinic-based environment in the Dunmore area.

We also offer a practicum program for techs looking to become BCBAs and earn their unrestricted hours .

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8 AM - 4 PM

Settings Available: Clinic - Day Program

Our Kiddos: 2-5 years old, many in early intervention. Fair Warning – you may become attached.

Environment:

  • We are a hands-off company working with autistic children who sometimes require verbal and non-physical de-escalation. We train you to do this properly.

  • We integrate video games from our partner company, Simcoach Games, to extend and reinforce learning in a supportive, inclusive manner driven by the child’s pace and interests. Therapy is the best when they are having fun!
  • We integrate technology to reduce administrative burden.

Training & Support:

Supportive Environment: We provide ongoing training and mentorship to help you grow in your career and feel confident in your role.

  • Paid onboarding and ongoing training: A mix of classroom and hands-on training and supervision/feedback sessions.
  • BCBA Fieldwork Practicum Resident Promotion Path:
  • We provide you with a dedicated, practicum program supervisor to ensure you are fully prepared to take on a BCBA role.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide one-on-one ABA therapy to children with the support of Licensed Behavior Specialists (LBSs) and Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).
  • Teach daily living and social skills using evidence-based treatments and positive reinforcement.
  • Collect data and write notes on the child’s progress and behavior to track their development, and acquire caregiver session signatures with our electronic, secure app.
  • Work closely with a supportive team of clinicians, caregivers, and office staff to provide quality service to our wonderful clients.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) BACB Certification.
  • Experience providing ABA therapy to children.
  • A desire to learn and grow in the field of ABA.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including regular walking, running, standing, bending, kneeling, squatting, climbing, stooping – some lifting.
