Position Summary

The Sales Engineer serves as a technical expert and trusted advisor to customers responsible for driving profitable growth through designin engineering technical consultation and strategic account development. This role combines application engineering expertise with valuebased selling to influence customer decisions and expand market presence.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Own and develop a defined sales territory across multiple industries identifying and converting highvalue growth opportunities
  • Lead technical discussions with customer engineering and R&D teams to support designin of SFC KOENIG solutions
  • Translate complex technical requirements into clear customer value propositions
  • Build manage and close a robust sales pipeline aligned with business growth objectives
  • Act as the voice of the customer internally collaborating closely with Product Development Manufacturing Quality and Operations teams
  • Maintain strong customer relationships through regular onsite visits technical reviews and solutionfocused engagement

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in engineering (Mechanical Industrial or related discipline preferred)
  • 14 years of experience in technical sales applications engineering or customerfacing engineering roles
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to communicate complex concepts to both technical and nontechnical audiences
  • Experience with precision components fluid power or engineered products preferred
  • Willingness and ability to travel up to 50%

Total Rewards

The compensation range for this position is $97000.00 - $145400.00 depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.
