Role: Snowflake Data Analyst/Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Vancouver or Seattle, WA

Job Type: Contract

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain Snowflake data models and views
• Validate and optimize Snowflake views for performance and accuracy
• Develop SQL queries to support analytics, reporting, and data validation
• Support ingestion and transformation logic across data pipelines
• Partner with QA and data engineering teams to validate outputs across systems
• Troubleshoot data discrepancies across upstream and downstream systems
• Support release cycles and ensure data readiness for production

Deliverables

• Development and validation of Snowflake views and data models
• Accurate and optimized SQL queries supporting reporting and analytics
• Validation of data pipelines and transformations across systems
• Support for reporting outputs and downstream data consumers
• Resolution of data quality issues and discrepancies

Technical Requirements

• Snowflake (data modeling, view creation, optimization)
• SQL (advanced querying, joins, aggregations, performance tuning)
• Power BI (data validation, report validation, dataset support)
• Azure (ADF / Data Factory)
• Kafka
• Salesforce Service Cloud (SFSC)
• Data pipeline validation / ETL workflows
• Understanding of data ingestion, transformation, and reporting layers

Qualifications

• Experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or similar role
• Strong experience with Snowflake and SQL-based data development
• Experience validating and troubleshooting data pipelines and reporting outputs
• Experience supporting BI/reporting tools (Power BI preferred)
• Experience working in agile delivery environments
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work across multiple data systems
