Position: Sociology Expert

Type: Contract

Compensation: $60$68/hour

Location: Remote

Commitment: 20 hours/week

Role Responsibilities

Author technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on sociology problems.
Review and annotate tasks involving demographic charts social network diagrams and survey output.
Produce original problem sets grounded in sociology concepts.
Write reference solutions and apply structured quality checks.
Work independently and asynchronously with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

Must-Have

PhD in Sociology MA in Sociology with 3 years research policy or teaching experience or BA in Sociology with 5 years applied research policy or teaching experience.
Working fluency in at least two of: social theory stratification demography qualitative methods quantitative methods.
Comfortable with demographic charts social network diagrams and survey output.
Clear technical writing; able to articulate reasoning step-by-step in written form.
